LUCAS PEREZ

Arsenal are set to let the Spaniard leave the Emirates this summer for next to nothing, according to Tuttomercatoweb.

The 29-year-old, who signed for the Gunners in August 2016 but struggled to make an impact in North London, has spent this campaign on loan at Deportivo La Coruna – although he could not help the La Liga side avoid relegation from the top-flight.

Perez is likely to head back to Arsenal in pre-season but then be moved on swiftly, with Lazio being the frontrunners to acquire his services.

The Serie A side are resigned to not being able to turn Nani’s loan spell from Valencia into a permanent switch, and therefore, have identified forward Perez as a like-for-like replacement.

Lucas Perez enjoyed a tough campaign at the Emirates during 2016-17.

MALCOM

Liverpool have joined Arsenal in the pursuit of the Bordeaux attacker, who is set for a big summer move.

The Daily Mail reports that the Merseysiders are following the 21-year-old Brazilian closely and view him as someone who could develop into a big star in years to come.

The Ligue 1 side are aware they could fetch as much as €50 million (Dh219m) for his services, which in turn would help the mid-table outfit strengthen significantly in other areas for next season.

Malcom, who started his career at Corinthians, has been impressive this term and is likely to feature in the World Cup with his country this summer.

Malcom has also been linked with PSG.

MATTIA PERIN

Juventus and Napoli have joined Chelsea in the chase to sign the highly-rated Genoa goalkeeper, according to Italian news outlet Corriere dello Sport.

The 25-year-old has developed into one of the standout shot-stoppers in Serie A but is thought to be keen to earn a move to a bigger club where he can challenge for silverware and feature in the Champions League.

A product of Rossoblu’s youth system, Perin would leave Genoa with a heavy heart but the lure of Juve could prove too much – especially as the Old Lady view him as a long-term replacement for Gianluigi Buffon.

Chelsea, on the other hand, are monitoring his situation with speculation being rife over the future of their No.1 Thibaut Courtois.

Mr Consistent: Mattia Perin.
