ANDRES INIESTA

The Blaugrana legend could make a sensational move to the A-League in Australia, according to Sport.

It had been rumoured for a while that the 33-year-old was on the verge of a Chinese Super League switch, however, he has apparently had a change of heart and would prefer to head Down Under.

The likes of Alessandro del Piero and David Villa enjoyed similar experiences at the backend of their respective glittering careers, with reports suggesting Iniesta feels the move would make for a smoother transition for his family.

Last month, the midfield maestro confirmed he would be leaving Camp Nou at the end of the season after 16 sensational, trophy-laden years.

A teary farewell for Iniesta.

ANDER HERRERA

The Manchester United midfielder has emerged as a key summer target for Atletico Madrid while Diego Simeone’s men are also keeping tabs on his Old Trafford team-mate, Anthony Martial.

El Gol Digital reports that the La Liga giants want to bring 28-year-old Herrera back to his homeland, where he previously played with Real Zaragoza and Athletic Bilbao before moving to England in 2014.

Jose Mourinho is set to wield the axe in pre-season and make several alterations to his squad in an attempt to run champions Manchester City close in the Premier League next term.

Together, Herrera and Martial are worth around €90 million (Dh393m) but it remains to be seen whether Atleti have that financial muscle in the transfer market.

Ander Herrera could end his stay in Manchester.

THOMAS DELANEY

Tottenham are among the frontrunners to land the Werder Bremen talent in the close season, though Mauricio Pochettino’s men do face competition from up to four other Premier League outfits.

Bild reports that Spurs will try and complete a deal for the Danish international, who at 26, has shined in the Bundesliga and is likely to feature at the World Cup in Russia.

The German side are apparently willing to allow the versatile midfielder to leave the club, should a bid in the region of £15m (Dh74m) come in for the former Copenhagen talent.

Both Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama could depart the Whites this summer, freeing up space to strengthen in the middle of the park.
