SAMI KHEDIRA

The German midfield enforcer has hinted that he would love to play in the Premier League one day.

Having previously won a Bundesliga crown with Stuttgart in Germany and the league title during his spell with Real Madrid, the cultured 31-year-old is just one match away from making it a hat-trick of domestic Serie A triumphs at Juventus.

However, according to Bild, the 2014 World Cup winner, in the future, wants to have a medal from England’s top-flight to add to that list and is assessing his options.

Khedira has just 12 more months to run on his existing deal at the Old Lady and with no talks so far over a new contract, he is well aware time is running out to earn one more big transfer.

Arsenal and Manchester United have both been interested in his services in the past.

Sami Khedira has rediscovered himself in Turin.

NABIL FEKIR

Liverpool are closing in on one of their long-term transfer targets, with the Lyon ace expected to arrive at Anfield this summer.

French outlet RMC Sport reports that the 24-year-old attacker is set to sign for the Merseysiders in a deal worth €70 million (Dh307m).

The news comes as a big boost for Jurgen Klopp’s men, especially given the fact the Reds have had to ward-off interest from Arsenal, Barcelona and Manchester United for his signature.

It is thought Fekir will pen a five-year deal with the Premier League side should the final details of the contract be signed, sealed and delivered.

SALOMON RONDON

Newly-promoted Cardiff have identified the West Brom forward as the man to lead their line in the Premier League next term.

While the Baggies still have hope of surviving in the top-flight, the Bluebirds will test their resolve to keep hold of the 28-year-old Venezuelan should his team plummet to the Championship.

Rondon has netted seven goals in 35 appearances this term in a struggling side and is expected to be highly sought-after regardless of what division West Brom are in next season.

According to the Daily Mail, Cardiff’s initial approach for the hitman is said to be worth around £12.5 million (Dh62m).

Rondon is a powerhouse up top.
