Though the summer transfer window is still a couple of months away, that hasn’t stopped the rumours of players potentially being on the move.

Across the world of football, there remains plenty of activity and stories that have football fans talking.

Here, we look at the latest transfer deals that could happen when the market reopens in June.

KARIM BENZEMA

The much-maligned French forward still has the backing of Real Madrid club president Florentino Perez, according to Marca.

This season, the 30-year-old has been heavily criticised for below-par performances and a goals return of just nine in all competitions.

Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal have all been linked with Benzema in recent times but the club stalwart still has the support of supremo Perez, who handed the forward a new four-year contract last September.

Despite speculation Robert Lewandowski could replace the ex-Lyon hitman this summer, Benzema looks set to stay at the Bernabeu given his good relationship with the powers that be at Los Blancos.

Frustrating season: Benzema has struggled for form and fitness.

RAPHAEL GUERREIRO

Paris Saint-Germain will launch a summer raid for the Borussia Dortmund left-back, Le10Sport reports.

The French giants have made strengthening their defence a top priority in the close season and are likely to allow full-back duo Layvin Kurzawa and Yuri Berchiche to leave the club.

That has opened the door for the Parisians to secure a deal for Guerreiro – a firm favourite of former Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel, the man all but set to take up the coaching reins at the Parc des Princes next term.

Juventus’ Alex Sandro and Faouzi Ghoulam of Napoli have been touted as other targets to plug the gap on the left-hand side but the versatile Portuguese international is PSG’s first-choice option.

24-year-old Guerreiro has not featured regularly this term.

ELIAQUIM MANGALA

Newly-promoted Wolves are hoping to announce their arrival into the Premier League next season with the signing of the Manchester City centre-back.

According to The Sun, Pep Guardiola’s men have deemed that the 27-year-old is surplus to requirements and can leave for next to nothing in the summer.

Mangala has spent the season-half of this season on loan at Everton but it has turned out to be a nightmare, with a knee injury ending his season after just two appearances for Sam Allardyce’s side.

The Frenchman cost City £32 million back in 2014 but has struggled to establish himself.

Mangala has endured a Goodison Park nightmare.
