ALISSON

The Express report that Real Madrid have given up the chase for Manchester United’s David de Gea and are instead moving for Roma’s Alisson as they look to replace Keylor Navas.

As a result, Liverpool have been forced to expedite their own pursuit of the Brazilian goalkeeper after taking a step back following some promising performances from Loris Karius.

However, with Simon Mignolet set to leave the club in the summer, the Reds feel the need to secure the services of Alisson as their new number one and have Karius challenge him for the role.

With Gennaro Gattuso’s side in desperate need of some experience in their forward line, Massimiliano Mirabelli is determined to reel in the 31-year-old who is viewed as the ideal signing.

The Croatian striker has been linked with a move to the Chinese Super League as well at the end of the season but it is unclear whether he is ready to step away from the European stage just yet.

ARSENE WENGER

According to L’Equipe, Arsene Wenger, who announced his decision to stand down as Arsenal manager in the summer, could be heading to Paris Saint-Germain.

Despite never winning the Champions League, the Ligue 1 winners reportedly believe the Frenchman is the man to guide them to European glory.

With plenty of funds at his disposal and a star-studded squad to work with including the likes of Neymar and French teenager Kylian Mbappe, who Wenger is particularly a fan of, the 68-year-old coach could bring the best out of the squad.
