Though the summer transfer window is still a few months away, that hasn’t stopped the rumours of players potentially being on the move.

Jurgen Klopp is hoping to bring the Spanish attacker to Anfield this summer, reports the Sun.

The 26-year-old has netted eight goals and provided eight assists in all competitions this term.

However, he has started just 13 La Liga games and is said to want more game time at the Bernabeu.

And according to the English news outlet, Klopp is desperate to land the €60 m (Dh 272.1m) forward who has pace to burn, willingness to work back and fits perfectly into the Reds counter-pressing system.

MATTEO DARMIAN

Juventus will sign Matteo Darmian from Manchester United during the summer, Tuttosport reports.

The Italy international, who has fallen down the pecking order under Jose Mourinho this term, will join the Serie A champions at the end of the season. Massimiliano Allegri is seeking a replacement for 34-year-old Stephan Lichtsteiner who’s contract is due to expire in June.

Darmian, who turns 29 in December, has played only played once since the 3-1 win over Arsenal on December 2.
