Jose Mourinho issues hands-off warning to Real Madrid over Man United’s David de Gea

20:28 13/03/2018

Jose Mourinho has issued a hands-off warning to Real Madrid over Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea.

The Spaniard has been a long-term target for the La Liga club, and his current deal runs out at the end of next season, although United have an option of extending that deal by a year.

They are also looking to tie him down to a longer-term contract that could keep him at the club until at least 2023.

“I see him staying here,” Mourinho told Spanish TV station La Sexta.

“I do not know what the intentions of Real Madrid are but they should think about another player.”
