Amid speculation over a move to Arsenal, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been named to Borussia Dortmund‘s squad for their Bundesliga game on Saturday against Freiburg, the club confirmed in a tweet.

Aubameyang has missed Dortmund’s last two games after being suspended by the club for missing a team meeting, not the first time this season the striker has run afoul of the club over disciplinary issues.

However, the striker looked in good spirits in training earlier this week, and Dortmund manager Peter Stoeger has maintained that he would be available for selection once his dispute with the club was resolved.

“Aubameyang returns to the squad for the home game at Signal Iduna Park against Freiburg on Saturday,” the tweet read.

It also included a quote for Dortmund boss Peter Stoger.

“Auba has had a very good, very concentrated and professional training behind week.”

Aubameyang was summoned for a meeting with the team hierarchy after his suspension, and having been restored to the team, it’s safe to say the club’s leading scorer this season has settled his differences with the club – for now.

Dortmund have reportedly rejected two bids from Arsenal for Aubameyang, as the two sides haggle over the German side’s €70million valuation of the 28-year-old.
