Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been left out of their squad to face Hertha Berlin.

The Arsenal target will not travel with the squad, with the Bundesliga club’s Sporting Director Michael Zorc saying: “He will train in Dortmund.”

He added on the club’s Twitter account: “We have the impression at the moment that he has his head on other things and is not fully focused.”

The Dortmund chief’s comments only fuel speculation of a move to the Premier League with Arsenal.

With Alexis Sanchez closing in on a move to Manchester United and Theo Walcott completing his switch to Everton, Arsenal are in the market for reinforcements.

Zorc had earlier claimed that there was no contact with Arsenal over the availability of the player.
