The transfer window may not open again until January 1, 2018 but that hasn’t put an end to plenty of speculation throughout Europe.

ANTOINE GRIEZMANN

According to French newspaper Le10Sport (h/t Calciomercato.com), Barcelona have agreed a deal in principle to sign Antoine Griezmann. The Atletico Madrid star is expected to join France team-mate Ousmane Dembele at the Nou Camp in the summer.

RATING: 5/10

SPORT360 VERDICT:

Had the transfer ban not been imposed on Atletico, Griezmann could well be playing in a United shirt now. His release clause in his contract also suggested that he would be ready to be picked up by the Premier League outfit in the following year. It seemed like the two clubs and the player had come to an understanding.

But throw in Barcelona and their desperation to secure more attacking talent after Neymar left for PSG, Luis Suarez has struggled for form and Dembele has been hit by injury and all is not so certain anymore. Still expect him to wind up at Old Trafford though.

NABIL FEKIR

Arsenal could be set to bid £60 million for Nabil Fekir, according to the Mail. With both Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil expected to let their contracts run out and leave the club as free agents in the summer, the Lyon attacker is seen as the perfect man to help fill the void but the Gunners will face stiff competition from Barcelona.

RATING: 6/10

SPORT360 VERDICT:

What do you know? Barcelona in the mix again. The Catalans are casting a wide net at the moment and if they are serious in their pursuit of the Frenchman, that seriously hinders Arsenal’s hopes. However, the Gunners may just be even more desperate than the La Liga leaders to bolster their attack next summer and could pull out all the stops for Fekir while Barcelona may choose to focus their negotiations elsewhere.

RICHARLISON

Richarlison has taken the Premier League by storm since his arrival at Watford this season and Tottenham have apparently already seen enough to plot a move for the Brazilian, the Mirror report.

RATING: 6/10

SPORT360 VERDICT

It’s only taken three months for Richarlison to attract suitors and given his form in the Premier League, perhaps that shouldn’t be a surprise. Son Heung-Min offers Tottenham options with his ability to play upfront or out wide and the Watford attacker is very much in the same mould.

Apart from being one of the most threatening players in the league, Richarlison would most certainly give Mauricio Pochettino even more tactical options. If they move quickly, they may get him at a reasonable price.
