Riyad Mahrez is set to complete a move to Barcelona despite interest from Chelsea and Tottenham, reports in France claim.

Mahrez left the Algerian national team camp on Wednesday night to complete his transfer away from Leicester City.

L’Equipe believe the midfielder is destined for one of Barcelona, Chelsea or Tottenham while Get French Football News insist the Catalans are firmly in the driving seat.

Mahrez has made no secret of his desire to leave Leicester this summer while AS Roma had three bids for the 26-year-old turned down.

The Algerian now appears set to complete a move away from the club on deadline day.
