Croatian star Ivan Perisic is set to decide on his long-term future this week, with Inter Milan reportedly being willing to offer a new deal to the 28-year-old.

While the Nerazzurri are desperate to keep the attacker at the club this term, Jose Mourinho is still keen on signing the former Dortmund and Wolfsburg man.

According to Calciomercato, Perisic met with Inter hierarchy on Wednesday – with talk of new contractual terms apparently on the table.

Perisic is contracted to the Black and Blues until 2020 but is said to be after an improved offering, something United could propose – although Mourinho’s men are in the dark over the outcome of this meeting.

It remains to be seen whether the Red Devils, who are still desperate for pace and flair on the flanks, rev up their interest in the Serie A star.

Inter are believed to want at least €50m for his signature.
