Neymar and Dani Alves ask Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez to snub Manchester City and move to PSG

According to a report from El Mercurio, Neymar and Dani Alves, former Barcelona team-mates of Alexis Sanchez, have asked the forward to move to Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

Sanchez, who is not fully fit and missed Arsenal’s Community Shield victory over Chelsea on Sunday, has been targeted by a number of clubs during the transfer window – including Manchester City.

And while it would make sense for the Gunners to cash in on the 28-year-old given he has one-year left on his current deal, Arsene Wenger’s stance is that the player will not be sold.

Following Neymar’s world-record move to PSG and his link-up with fellow Brazilian Alves, Sanchez might well be tempted to join the duo in the French capital – although Financial Fair Play regulations are certain to come into play.

The trio played alongside each other for a solitary season at the Camp Nou, during the 2013-14 campaign.
