Another day in football, another wave of transfer rumours to keep up on. Take a look at the most recent names and gossip being floated around in the media.

KYLIAN MBAPPE

According to L’Equipe, Liverpool are still in the hunt to sign the Monaco starlet. Jurgen Klopp has  remained in contact with Mbappe ever since he first tried to convince the youngster to join Liverpool in May.

Mbappe is said to be a target for Manchester City, PSG, Real Madrid and Barcelona, with Madrid the player’s likeliest destination if he leaves Monaco.

RATING: 2/10

SPORT360 VERDICT: Simply put, Liverpool can’t afford Mbappe. Klopp may admire the player and want him to join the club, but the Reds will not win a bidding war with any of the other clubs said to be interested.

OUSMANE DEMBELE

Mundo Deportivo is reporting that Arsenal have failed in an attempt to buy the Borussia Dortmund youngster.

Dembele is thought to be a potential replacement for Alexis Sanchez. While Arsenal have repeatedly said the Chilean will not be sold, their interest in Dembele perhaps indicates that they’re preparing for life without Sanchez.

RATING: 4/10

SPORT360 VERDICT: While Arsenal have begun loosening the purse-strings in recent transfer windows, they may not be willing to pay as much as it takes to get Dortmund to budge on Dembele.

Previous reports have suggested that even £80million may not be enough as Dortmund are determined to hang on to the youngster.

ARTURO VIDAL

Reports in Italy are suggesting that the Bayern Munich midfielder has reached an agreement with Inter Milan.

FCInterNews are claiming that Inter are ready to pay €50million, and that Vidal will meet with Bayern executives soon to express his desire to leave.

RATING: 3/10

SPORT360 VERDICT: It seems unlikely that Vidal would want to leave Bayern, where he’s an influential player and always in the hunt for Bundesliga and Champions League titles.

However, he’s also the sort of player that would be a perfect statement signing for Inter, especially given the busy transfer window city rivals AC Milan are having. This transfer could gain traction in the coming days.
