Zinedine Zidane addresses speculation around Real Madrid target Kylian Mbappe

Kylian Mbappe is one of the most sought after players in the world at the moment and Real Madrid remain the side most linked to securing his signature.

The 18-year-old burst onto the scene last season and is already being touted as a future Ballon d’Or winner.

While Zinedine Zidane is known to be an admirer of his young compatriot, he tip-toed around the topic when it came up at his press conference on Saturday night.

Given the fact that AS Monaco threatened to issue a complaint to FIFA over clubs ‘tapping up’ their prized asset, Zidane’s subtlety was well advised.

“You know Mbappe is a good player and I already know too,” he said.

“Many clubs are interested in him but I can just think about tomorrow’s match and my players.”
