Various reports claim that Paris Saint-Germain is set to pay the €222m it would take to wrestle Neymar away from Barcelona.

Marca believes the Ligue 1 side are keen to bring the Brazilian star to the French capital in what would be a world record fee.

Meanwhile, Sport have suggested that the 25-year-old has grown tired of living in Lionel Messi’s shadow and believes his development lies elsewhere if he is going to be the best player in the world.

On Tuesday evening, Brazilian network Esporte Interativo exclusively reported that Neymar has accepted PSG’s proposal and the deal will be announced soon, within two weeks.

At PSG, Neymar would have the opportunity to be the team’s main man as they compete for Champions League glory.
