Douglas Costa could be emulating fellow Brazilian Diego Costa's move to the English Premier League if Shakhtar Donestk accept a £20 million bid from Arsenal. 

The attacking midfielder is unwilling to return to the Ukrainian side due to the political unrest occuring in the region. 

Arsenal may already have an array of attacking midfielders in their cavalry but Arsene Wenger feels the 23-year-old would be too good to miss out on. 

Arsenal have already had a £15 million bid rejected for Costa but they will improve the offer imminently for Shaktar's prized asset.

If the Gunners succeed in bringing in Costa then there is a big chance that Santi Cazorla will be allowed a move back to his native Spain as he is homesick. Atletico Madrid have showed plenty of interest in the tiny magician.
