Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s move to Paris Saint-Germain from Borussia Dortmund looked like being the first major signing completed this summer with a fee reportedly agreed in early June.

However, the deal fell through and the Bundesliga top scorer has since been courted by several Premier League clubs including Liverpool where former manager Jurgen Klopp is at the helm.

Manchester City have also shown a keen interest with Pep Guardiola no doubt familiar with the Gabon international’s talents while he guided Bayern Munich to domestic glory.

The 28-year-old has most recently been linked to a lucrative transfer to the Chinese Super League as well.
