Anthony Martial has been linked to a move to Arsenal in recent weeks but the Manchester United forward took to Twitter to deny all rumours on Wednesday.

The Frenchman burst onto the Premier League scene in the season before last with a stunning debut goal against Liverpool at Old Trafford.

He continued his rich vein of form for the following few games and enjoyed a promising first campaign at the club.

However, he’s struggled to establish himself in the first eleven under Jose Mourinho, leading to speculation over his future this summer.

The 21-year-old has simply tweeted, “The rumours are false.”

It’s been reported that Arsenal were eyeing up the Frenchman as they struggle to lure Kylian Mbappe to the Emirates Stadium.

Martial has two years left on his current contract with an option for another year.
