Reports linking Cristiano Ronaldo to a move back to Manchester United propped up again this summer.

Despite winning the Champions League and La Liga with Real Madrid, the Portuguese was reportedly considering a move away from Spain following tax fraud allegations.

Naturally, Old Trafford emerged as the most likely destination for the 32-year-old, the ground he spent six remarkable seasons at.

However, following Real Madrid President Florentino Perez’s defence of him lately, reports suggest that Ronaldo is happy to stay put.

Nevertheless, United fans continue to hold out hope of a return for their hero and former team-mate Rio Ferdinand is no different.

In the videos below, the retired defender admitted that he would love to see Ronaldo don United’s red once again and insists that there’s no one better when it comes to finding the back of the net.
