Tottenham are ready to splash the cash in order to sign the exciting Antoine Griezmann from Real Sociedad.

Spurs are prepared to meet the £25 million buy-out clause for the French winger but they face stiff competition from Chelsea and Monaco who are also interested in the 23-year-old and are willing to offer higher wages.

Griezmann had an excellent debut World Cup for France so was bound to attract attention from the top European sides.

Tottenham will pray that goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, who is Griezmann's captain for France, can convince the French star to come to the north London side and fill the void that Gareth Bale left in his record-breaking deal to Real Madrid.
