Real Madrid icon Casillas keen on Arsenal move

Legendary Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas is itching for a move to Arsenal, according to Spanish paper EL Confidencial.

Casillas, who suffered a suffered a torrid World Cup for Spain, is so desperate for a move away from Real that he wants his contract to be terminated so he can leave for free.

Costa Rican stopper Keylor Navas close to joining Madrid so the Spaniard feels this would be the ideal time to leave after his 24-year association with the club. 

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has already allowed Lukasz Fabianski to leave for Swansea and the Frenchman remains unconvinced that Wojciech Szczesny is a long term solution in goal for the Emirates outfit.
