Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos has confirmed he will move to Champions League winners Real Madrid, just days after starring in Germany's triumphant World Cup campaign.

Kroos was one of the stand-out performers in Brazil, playing a key role for Joachim Loew's side as they defeated Argentina in the final to clinch the most coveted prize in football.

And amid the celebrations with his national teammates, it seems the 24-year-old has wasted little time in deciding his club future lies in the Spanish capital instead of Munich.

"In the next few days I will go to Real Madrid," Kroos told AS while holidaying in Majorca.

Kroos' arrival at the Bernabeu means he could be linking up with international colleague Sami Khedira, although rumours have been circulating that the 27-year-old could be heading for the exit.
