With the European football season now less than a month away, transfer news continues to gather pace as clubs continue to seek reinforcements ahead of the new campaign.

The big news story of the day sees Tottenham Hotspur closing on a move for French winger Georges-Kevin Nkoudou from Marseille, with Mauricio Pochettino’s side looking to add depth ahead of a Champions League challenge.

Sport360 rounds-up the day’s leading transfer stories.

Georges-Kevin Nkoudou, Marseille to Tottenham (in talks)

A five-year deal for one of France’s brightest talents seems set to be signed after the winger travelled to London on Sunday.

A France Under-21 international, he scored 10 goals last term, managing to shine brightly for an awful Marseille. A fine talent for Spurs.

Hal Robson-Kanu, free agent to Hull City (in talks)

The Tigers are reported to be close to making one of Euro 2016’s most unexpected stars their first signing of a vital summer.

Talks are at an advanced stage for the Premier League returnees to bring in the Wales forward on a bargain free transfer.

Wilfried Bony, Manchester City to Everton (reported)

New Everton coach Ronald Koeman is beginning to make his mark, with the Daily Mirror reporting he has told City if they want centre-back John Stones then the Ivory Coast striker must be included.

Bony has scored only 10 goals in 46 disappointing games for City.

Laurent Koscielny, Arsenal to Bayern (reported)

The France centre-back appears to have a call to make between regular starts and silverware as Bayern Munich look to snap him up as cover.

The Sunday Express reports Koscielny has just one year left on his Gunners contract, meaning a sale could happen.

Gabriel Barbosa, Santos to Chelsea (reported)

This is a transfer to truly excite Blues supporters. Brazilian publication Globoesporte states they have moved ahead of Juventus in the chase for Brazil’s next attacking hope.

A decision is impending for the 19-year-old forward, who has two goals in four Brazil outings.
