SAMUEL UMTITI – Lyon to Barcelona – €25m (Dh101.7m)

Barcelona have confirmed the signing of the 22-year-old defender who impressed with his performances for France in the semi-final and final of Euro 2016. Umtiti, who can play both centre and left back, has signed a five-year contract.

JOAQUIN CORREA – Sampdoria to Sevilla –  €13m (Dh52.8m)

Spain’s shrewdest operators in the transfer market have snapped up the 21-year-old Argentine central midfielder from Samp as well as a season-long loan deal for Atletico’s Mattias Kranevitter, following the departure of Grzegorz Krychowiak to PSG.

RAMADAN SOBHI – Al Ahly to Stoke –  £2.5m (Dh12.2m)

The teenage Egyptian winger is set to undergo a medical at the Britannia Stadium once his work permit is approved by the British Home Office. Sobhi, who made his debut for Al Ahly as a 16-year-old, has made it clear he wants to leave the club.

PIOTR ZIELINSKI – Udinese to AC Milan – £18m (Dh73.2m)

With Udinese’s reluctance to sell the Polish midfielder to Liverpool, the Rossoneri have now emerged as his most likely destination. Milan are in talks with the 22 year-old over personal terms and a deal could be concluded this week.

ANDERSON TALISCA – Benfica to Liverpool –  £21m (Dh102m)

According to reports in Portugal, the Brazilian goalscorer midfielder has made it clear he wants Benfica to sanction a move to Liverpool, although the Reds may have to improve on their initial offer for the 22-year-old.
