- Dahoud was born on New Year’s Day 1996 in Amude, Syria.
- Upon arriving in Germany, Dahoud’s first junior club was SC Germania Reusrath.
- He then signed with Fortuna Düsseldorf, until he was picked up by the Gladbach academy in 2010.
