ALEXANDRE PATO – CORINTHIANS to CHELSEA (Loan)

Finally, it’s a done deal. The striker becomes the 62nd Brazilian to join the Premier League after finalising his loan last night.

It’s hoped the 26-year-old can fire the ailing Blues to a late charge at the top four spots.

ALBERTO PALOSCHI – CHIEVO to SWANSEA (£8m – Dh42m)

The former AC Milan striker was in Wales last night to put the finishing touches on a four-year deal.

The Swans are desperate to reinforce their forward line and the 26-yearold has eight in 21 Serie A games this term.

EDER – SAMPDORIA to INTER MILAN (Loan)

The Serie A title challengers have completed a two-year loan deal for the striker with the option of making the deal permanent.

Eder is pretty versatile and is able to play anywhere across the front three.

WAHBI KHAZRI – BORDEAUX to SUNDERLAND (£9m – Dh47m)

Sunderland hope the Tunisian attacker can fire up their attack with a deal close to completion.

Signing the creative midfielder on a four-and-half year deal will solve the most difficult piece of their transfer jigsaw.

GUILHERME SIQUEIRA – ATLETICO MADRID to NEWCASTLE (Loan)

The Brazilian left-back is close to becoming Newcastle’s fourth January signing as the left back is on the verge of bolstering Steve McClaren’s defence with a loan deal until the end of the season.
