Juventus and Cagliari kick off the 2017/18 Serie A season on Saturday night ahead of a packed Sunday schedule.

The match promises to be a fruitful one for Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain, who’s scored five goals in five games against Cagliari, with three of those goals coming since his move to Turin last season.

On the other hand, Alessio Cerci, who has returned to Italy after an unsuccessful spell with Atletico Madrid, would have wished for different opponents for his Hellas Verona debut. In 10 top-flight games against Napoli, Cerci has yet to find the back of the net.

Perhaps he’ll break his duck on Saturday night?

The video below looks at three Hots and Nots of the opening weekend.
