Real Madrid defender Daniel Carvajal believes Los Blancos have a good chance to progress to the final of the Copa del Rey as they take on eternal rivals Barcelona in the second leg on Wednesday night.

The right-back knows what’s at stake in the latest installment of El Clasico and has assured fans that the team will be giving their all in the intense clash at the Santiago Bernabeu, with the tie finely poised at 1-1.

“We feel good,’ he said. “We have a good result [1-1 from the first leg] and we want to go to the final so we will give everything,” he said, according to Marca.

“It’s a game that is watched all over the world. It’s a special match and we hope the result is favourable for us.”

Clearly, Carvajal is confident that his team can progress to the final – especially with an away goal from the first leg – to face one of Real Betis or Valencia at the Benito Villamarin.
