It is clear that Real Madrid’s Isco is not in coach Santiago Solari’s plans, given how the Spaniard has failed to find playing time under the new coach.

Whether the midfielder will play a part in the Club World Cup remains to be seen but he will welcome the backing he received from teammate Marcelo’s amid these tough times.

The Brazilian praised Isco’s quality and mentioned that the 26-year-old is with Los Blancos ‘till death’, just like other players in the squad.

“We all know his quality,” said Marcelo, MARCA reports.

“For me, he is the one [in our squad] with the most quality on the pitch.

“Sometimes players play more, sometimes less, there are different moments.

“We should not go over it so much.

“Isco is with Madrid to the death, like all the players.”

Los Blancos play Kashima Antlers in the semi-final of the Club World Cup on Wednesday evening.
