Diego Simeone is definitely not a popular figure in the Real Madrid dressing room.

After Luka Modric called out the Atletico Madrid boss for ‘disparaging’ his teammates, it was Thibaut Courtois’ turn to express his frustration.

The Belgian accused Simeone of belittling Madrid to win the favour of the Atletico fans.

Real Madrid were drawn against Ajax in the Champions League round of 16, with the Dutch side having gone through the group stage unbeaten despite being paired with Bayern Munich.
