Wind factor responsible for Real Madrid’s poor show against Huesca, says Alvaro Adriozola

Real Madrid finally climbed back into the top four but their win against La Liga’s bottom placed side Huesca was marred by a lacklustre performance.

Custodian Thibaut Courtois was at his best and Los Blancos would probably have ended up with just a point if not for the Belgian’s heroics.

And Alvaro Odriozola believes it was a matter of failing to get to grips with the weather conditions that caused Real’s travails.

“It’s no excuse, the conditions were what they were for them and for us,” he said to reporters after the game.

“But it was very difficult to play football well, you didn’t know where the ball was going to go.

“You have to win these matches and we continue to fight.”
