Barcelona legend Andres Iniesta has admitted it would not “hurt” to see former team-mate Neymar end up at Real Madrid.

Neymar, 26, has been linked to swapping Paris Saint-Germain for Los Blancos since August 2017’s world-record defection from the Blaugrana.

Speaking to El Larguero, Iniesta – who made 674 appearances and won 30 major trophies at Barca from 1996 until 2018’s move to Japan’s Vissel Kobe – insists there would be no hard feelings if the rumours about the superstar forward became true.

He said: “It wouldn’t hurt me because they are decisions that, if they happen, they happen.

“Madrid will get themselves a unique player. Barcelona have their own unique players and I see them going got all the title.”
