Under fire Real Madrid manager Julen Lopetegui has gone with an attacking trio of Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Isco as Los Blancos desperately try to return to winning ways in a mouthwatering El Clasico clash against fierce rivals Barcelona.

Lopetegui is fighting to save his job with Real having won just once in their last six games in all competitions, with rumours persisting he could be sacked if his side are not victorious at the Camp Nou.

Today will be the first Clasico in which neither Lionel Messi nor Cristiano Ronaldo will play since December 23, 2007.

That day, Bernd Schuster’s Madrid won 1-0 at Camp Nou, thanks to a goal from Julio Baptista, when Barca also could not feature an injured Messi in the line-up.
