New Real Madrid signing Alvaro Odriozola is set to make his Whites debut on Saturday night when Los Blancos host Espanyol in La Liga at the Bernabeu (22:45 UAE time).

The promising 22-year-old defender, who was signed from Real Sociedad in July for a fee of €30 million and has won four caps for Spain, will enter the first-team ranks in place of Dani Carvajal, who is injured.

Carvajal did not train with the rest of the Real Madrid squad on Friday although everyone else was fit and present.

According to Marca, Vinicius Junior was one of those but it remains to be seen whether Julen Lopetegui will hand the Brazilian his first appearance for the Spanish capital club.
