Sergio Ramos has refused to discuss former Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane during a press conference with Spain.

Ramos, 32, worked with the France legend during the past two-and-a-half seasons, winning nine trophies together. But the tactician dropped a bombshell last week with his shock resignation.

The centre-back has now met up with his national side ahead of World Cup 2018 after Los Blancos’ latest Champions League triumph. Speaking to the media, Ramos was keen to place emphasis on preparations for the upcoming international event in Russia.

He said: “We will have plenty of time to talk about Zizou (Zidane) and many other things during the World Cup.”
