The reported unrest between Gareth Bale and Zinedine Zidane has stretched to social media.

The Welsh wizard, who scored two goals after coming off the bench in the Champions League final to help Real Madrid to a 3-1 win over Liverpool, was the only Los Blancos player not to post a farewell message to Zidane on social media following his resignation on Thursday.

Bale and Zidane apparently have a strained relationship, heightened by the fact the 28-year-old did not start the prestigious final in Kiev and was regularly benched during the 2017-18 campaign.

As such, the 28-year-old was the only man not to pen a tribute to the Frenchman online, unlike the rest of his team-mates.
