Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane renews contract until 2020 without even negotiating terms

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has renewed his contract at the club until 2020, without even entering into negotiations, Marca is reporting.

The Frenchman has worked his magic wand ever since his appointment at Los Blancos by club President Florentino Perez in January 2016.

Apparently, the contract extension was just a formality as the 45-year-old didn’t even discuss the financial amount within the contract.

Having won seven trophies ever since his arrival, including two back-to-back Champions League titles in 2016 and 2017, Zidane could have asked for a raise, although he didn’t find it necessary.

With a contract extension now out of their way, Zidane and his men can now focus on defending their La Liga and European crowns this term.
