After Roberto Carlos played up the possibility of joining Zinedine Zidane’s backroom staff at Real Madrid we look at the other Galacticos that could join the Frenchman’s Bernabeu revolution.

Have your say on who you think Zidane should appoint by commenting below or tweeting us with #360fans.

Raul

The club legend retired in November but seems set for a role at the Bernabeu in the future. For now he is working as a La Liga ambassador in America.

Michel Salgado
Based in Dubai and a successful businessmen with his Spanish Soccer Schools. Popular with all his former team-mates but a coaching move seems unlikely.

Luis Figo
The Portuguese is more concerned with political matters than work on the pitch at present. Has shown little interest of getting into coaching.

Aitor Karanka
Is well-established as manager of Middlesbrough where he has an excellent chance of earning promotion to the Premier League for next season.

Claude Makelele
Among Zidane’s most beloved team-mates but the timing, at least for now, seems all wrong with Makelele working as technical director at Monaco.

Santiago Solari
Was supposedly joining Zidane only for the Frenchman to then claim he’s keeping the same staff on. Don’t be surprised to see him at the club in the summer if Project Zizou works out.

Guti
A cult hero with Madridistas and someone who has been earning his coaching badges since retiring in 2012.
