Neymar was pleased to make his return from injury on Sunday as he scored a stunning goal in Brazil‘s 2-0 win over Croatia in a pre-World Cup friendly.

The Paris Saint-Germain star had been out since February with a metatarsal fracture, with the injury initially putting his World Cup participation in doubt.

However, those fears have been laid to rest as Neymar looked in good form, a positive sign for Brazil as they bid to win the Jules Rimet trophy for the sixth time.

“I am not 100 per cent recovered, but I am happy to be back,” he said after Sunday’s match.
