Nice to know that even the superstars constantly linked with football’s big money transfers get bored with the incessant speculation surrounding them – including Neymar.

The Paris Saint-Germain star says he is tired of transfer talk amid ongoing links to Real Madrid and Manchester United.

The 26-year-old instead said he’d rather focus on the World Cup with Brazil next month when he was interviewed after picking up the Ligue 1 Player of the Season on Sunday.

“My goal now is the World Cup. It is not time to talk about transfers,” Neymar said. “I am a little tired of it now.”

PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi said on Saturday he was “2000 per cent” sure Neymar would remain with the Ligue 1 champions, even though his prized possession is constantly being linked with a surprise exit after just one season in France, despite being contracted until 2022.

Neymar scored 28 goals in 30 games for PSG before his season was ended prematurely by a serious foot injury in February.

“Everyone knows what I have come here to do, the goals I have,” he added.
