The Emirates Islamic National School League Football is set to build on the success of its inaugural edition with a bigger competition, featuring Under-12s for the first time, expanded pools and two new divisions.

Preliminary registration is open now for the second running of this exciting winter tournament and spots are sure to fill up fast. Be sure to get in before your school misses out!

With an emphasis on developing the nation’s best young footballers, 100 teams from 60 schools are expected to challenge double champions Lycee Francais International Georges Pompidou for glory.

Group matches in the eight-a-side U-14s and U-16s will run from October 7-November 26, with the finals set to take place from January 21-February 4. The U-12s will debut during the latter-mentioned 2017 dates, with matches being five-a-side.

LFI swept to success in the U-14s and U-16s, collecting their prizes from former France and Manchester United defender Mikael Silvestre during a gala day at The Sevens in February.

Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah will again contest divisions, with the additions of Al Ain and Fujairah making it a truly national competition.

The Sevens, New York University Abu Dhabi, Al Ain Equestrian Club, Fujairah Club Stadium and Koora Dome will all host fixtures.
