Egypt fans were given encouragement by a Mohamed Salah social media post on Sunday.

The Liverpool forward tweeted out an update regarding his rehabilitation from a shoulder injury ahead of Egypt’s World Cup campaign.

Salah damaged his left shoulder during the 3-1 Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid last month when he was brought down by a challenge from Sergio Ramos

Fears that he may not return to action in time for the World Cup were rife.

However, Salah’s social media post seems to provide a positive update as he is pictured using a resistance band in a shoulder exercise with the caption: ‘Good feelings.’
