Mohamed Salah has scored 43 goals for Liverpool and was named the Premier League Player of the Year this season – his first at Anfield.

That doesn’t impress World Cup winning coach Vincente del Bosque much though.

The Spaniard claims Salah isn’t better than any one of Real Madrid’s attacking players in their first team.

Real Madrid is the best team in Europe,” Del Bosque said on Cadena COPE (via AS)

“I would not find a Liverpool player who could replace one from Madrid.”

“(Gareth) Bale, (Karim) Benzema, Cristiano (Ronaldo), (Marco) Asensio and (Lucas) Vazquez are better than Salah, or just as good.”

When asked for his prediction when Madrid and Liverpool meet in Kiev, Del Bosque said: “Real Madrid 4-1 Liverpool.”
