Mohamed Salah has promised fans there’s more to come from him after a stunning first season at Liverpool.

The Egyptian attacker has been prolific this campaign, scoring 43 goals in all competitions since moving from Roma last summer. His form saw him win the club’s Player of the Season awards, voted by the club fans and his team-mates while also collecting the Football Writers’ Association accolade.

He has been linked with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid but Salah is happy to stay at Anfield.

“I’m very happy here, everything is fine,” he said.

“Of course I have got ambitions for the future with Liverpool. As you can see we had a great season, now we are in the Champions League final and everyone is excited.

“It is just the start. This is my first year here and it is the same for some other players. It is just the beginning.”
