Manchester United have reportedly opened talks over the transfer of Flamengo midfielder Lucas Paqueta, who is also a target for other top European clubs – including Barcelona.

Le 10 Sport say United are among the clubs to have opened negotiations over the signing, with a fee of around €40million said to be the fee that could take the midfielder from Flamengo.

Barcelona and AC Milan are also in for him which will provide United with plenty of competition for his signature.

The South American starlet is also reported to be a target for Paris Saint-Germain, whom Le 10 Sport suggest are one of the Red Devils’ main rivals for this transfer.
