Simon Mignolet is being tipped for a move to Napoli before the Italian window shuts
Napoli’s hunt for a new goalkeeper could see them once again turn to Premier League side Liverpool with Simon Mignolet a target, according to respected Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marizo.
Mignolet is reportedly surplus to requirements with the Reds after Jurgen Klopp paid a world-record fee for Brazil No1 Alisson Becker earlier this summer.
Despite his calamitous record, Loris Karius, who ripped the No1 spot from Mignolet last season, is set to be retained as the club’s reserve stopper.
And so Mignolet has emerged as a top target for Napoli who lost former Reds stopper Pepe Reina to Serie A rivals AC Milan last month.
David Ospina and Guillermo Ochoa are also two targets for boss Carlo Ancelotti.
