Leicester in talks with Liverpool over £12million move for goalkeeper Danny Ward

Liverpool back-up goalkeeper Danny Ward is set to leave Anfield and switch to Leicester in a deal worth £12million.

According to Goal, the Welshman is closing in on his move to the Foxes while Jurgen Klopp looks to complete the formalities of Alisson Becker’s transfer to the Reds.

Ward, who has been a Liverpool player since 2012 but spent three of the past four seasons out on loan, is expected to miss the Merseysiders’ friendly with Blackburn Rovers on Thursday night to undergo further talks.
