Inter Milan are fortunate that they’ll avoid Lionel Messi when they take on Barcelona in the Champions League on Wednesday, but Mauro Icardi is sad to see his fellow Argentine miss the encounter.

Messi will be out with a broken arm, which means Icardi and Inter won’t be getting Barcelona at their best.

“My reaction was sadness because it is nice to play against great players,” Icardi said.
