Lionel Messi is set to miss out on next week’s El Clasico after he fractured his arm in Saturday’s 4-2 win against Sevilla.

Messi, 31, was left in pain after a first-half collision with compatriot Franco Vazquez. The La Liga champions’ all-time record goalscorer is now set to be absent from six matches – a run that includes Sunday’s derby thriller.
